The Pánfilo Natera exploration area lies in the high plateau area of central Mexico some 600km north of Mexico City in the State of Zacateca where all are clustered in an area approximately 50km east of the state capital, Zacatecas

|
The Milagros veins are hosted by Chilitos volcanic rocks. As such they are prospective for VMS deposits. This potential was clearly recognised by IMMSA since they conducted geophysical traversing (19 lines of 53.2km) including induced polarization (IP), resistivity and magnetometer surveys over the area in search of conductive bodies.

The Santa Rita vein set outcrops on the high flanks of the main hill which overlooks Milagros village. The veins are hosted in volcanic rocks of the Chilitos Formation with andesites developed in the lower areas and rhyolitic rocks adjacent to the vein itself. The vein itself has crustiform epithermal textures.
