Geology of the Phoenix Property Project |
|
The property comprises an east-west trending assemblage of volcanic rocks (basalt, andesite, rhyolite) south of the gabbro-metasediment assemblage that hosts the Springer, Perry and Cooke Mines. The Gwillim Fault marks the boundary between these two assemblages. To the south of the property is a felsic (tonalite) intrusion.
