History of the St-Jean Project
The St-Jean property area was the object of oil exploration in the 1950s when six deep boreholes were drilled. The Eastern Canada No. 1 well reported good gas shows. The Lozo and Joseph No.2 well also showed several horizons with gas. The Shell Saint-Armand No. 1 well was drilled in 1972 to the southeast of the property, and provides good control for the existing seismic data.
