History of the Lake Austin Project
There has been little previous exploration for uranium in the area of the radiometric feature in the tenement, and no report of any drilling within its area.

Geology of the Lake Austin Project
The Lake Austin deposit occurs where a drainage channel enters the lake system. The uranium channel radiometric anomaly within the tenement occurs where similar drainages from the granite areas to the west of the lake meet the flat lake bed. This forms a large radiometric anomaly of similar size to that at Wondinong at the southeast end of the lake.
