The property is located on a ridge between the western Colombian municipalities of El Dovio (Department of Valle del Cauca) and Sipi (Department of Choco) along a northeastern trending belt of Cretaceous age, volcano-sedimentary rocks known as the Cañasgordas Group.

Exploration of the area in the late 1990’s returned significant values, averaging 4.12 grams per metric tonne gold, 24.1 grams per metric tonne silver, 2.14% copper and 2.00% zinc, over widths ranging from three (3.0) to fifteen (15.0) meters in surface, underground and drill exposures.
