Borealis was joint-ventured to Gryphon Gold Corporation in 2002. By the end of 2004, Gryphon had earned a 70% position in the property, with Golden Phoenix retaining 30%.
In January of 2005, Golden Phoenix elected to sell its remaining 30% interest in the mine to Gryphon for $1.4 million, to be paid in installments through January of 2006. |
