Geology of the BEACONSFIELD GOLD TENEMENTS Project |
|
The Mine Sequence of Ordovician conglomerate, sandstone and siltstone beds occurs between two north-westerly trending thrust faults – the Cabbage Tree Thrust and the Cobblestone Creek Thrust. This belt is only around 400 metres wide and provides excellent focus for further exploration targeting another major quartz vein system analogous to the Tasmania Reef
