Location of the Yanrey Project |
The Yanrey group of tenements is made up of 4 licenses, E08/1699, 1538, 1539, 1540 located 90km south east of Onslow. The northern tenement (E08/1539) is located 2.5km from the Manyingee paleochannel uranium deposit (Paladin Energy Ltd) and the central tenement (E08/1540) is located 7 km from the Bennet Well paleochannel uranium deposit (Scimitar Resources Ltd).

Geology of the Yanrey Project |
|
The project area covers the contact between the younger Cretaceous rocks of the Carnarvon Basin and the underlying Paleoproterozoic granite and metamorphic sedimentary and igneous rock sequences of the Ashburton Province. There are extensive paleochannel development within the Carnarvon Basin sediments.
