| History of the Southern Cross Project |
|
The Company pursued a strategy of consolidation of gold assets in the Southern Cross between 1996 and 2001, during which time the Company gradually reduced the number of operating mills from five to one, the Marvel Loch mill. In 2001, the Marvel Loch treatment facility was upgraded from a capacity of 2Mtpa to 2.6Mtpa.
