|
The WGB contains extensive sediment-hosted, high-grade gold such as that produced from its Cannon and Lovitt Mines. The Cannon Mine produced roughly 1.25 million ounces of gold from ore grading 0.29 ounces per ton (oz/t). The Lovitt Mine, just south of Cannon, produced roughly 410,000 ounces of gold from ore averaging 0.40 oz/t.
