Location of the Arctic (Suhanko) Project |
The Suhanko Project is situated adjacent to the Arctic Circle, in Northern Finland and
has as its primary focus the exploration and development of the Konttijärvi and
Ahmavaara deposits. The Konttijärvi and Ahmavaara deposits are situated
approximately three kilometres from each other and about sixty kilometres south of
the town of Rovaniemi.

The earliest recorded exploration of the Suhanko project area describes bedrock mapping in
