Vancouver, B.C. - Brilliant Mining Corp. (BMC: TSXV) ("Brilliant" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that the targeted increase in Nickel Ore Deliveries to 450,000 tonnes for the 08/09 production year (July 08 - June 09) from the Lanfranchi Mine to BHP Billiton Nickel Wests Kambalda Concentrator has been formally accepted.
"The approval of ore deliveries to 450,000 tonnes for the 08/09 production year clears the way for the Lanfranchi Mine to ramp-up to targeted production levels, reduce unit costs by capitalizing on economies of scale and maximize profit" states John Williamson, CEO of Brilliant Mining.
Targeted ore deliveries from the Lanfranchi Mine of 450,000 tonnes in the 08/09 production year translate into 3.8-4.0 million pounds of payable nickel metal to Brilliant and represent a projected 60% increase on the ore delivered to Nickel West compared to the previous 12 month period.
