Appointment to the Board & Exercising of Warrants

Vancouver, B.C.: Bell Resources Corporation (the "Company" or "Bell") (TSX-V Symbol: BL) announces that in connection with its private placement which closed on April 27 2006, 4,174,346 warrants of the 5,000,000 warrants issued have been exercised. The warrants were exercisable at $0.65 until April 27, 2007 and the gross proceeds raised from the exercise is $2,713,325.

The Company also wishes to announce that William S. Harper has joined the Company's Board of Directors. Mr. Harper is a professional accountant with more than 25 years experience in corporate finance and administration with public companies listed in both Canada and the United States, primarily in the mining and high technology industries. Currently he is the Vice-President Finance and Corporate Secretary of a company listed on the TSX Exchange. Prior to joining that company, he was the Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Secretary, and Director of several public companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange.

Bell Resources is focused on the exploration and development of a diversified portfolio of North American base metal projects with the most advanced being the past producing Granduc Mine. Bell will maximize it's geological expertise as it advances all projects along a path toward potential production enabling Bell Resources to make the transition from explorer to producer.
