Yorbeau Continues Drill Testing of Augmitto-Astoria Corridor

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - May 31, 2011) - Yorbeau Resources Inc. (TSX:YRB.A) ("Yorbeau") continues its 2011 drilling program with two drill rigs with an initial focus on the Augmitto mine.

The objective of the current program is to conduct in-fill and definition drilling that will aid in the preparation of a resource estimate for the Augmitto deposit compliant with NI 43-101 which is presently scheduled for completion during the month of June.

Drilling at this time is focused on the eastern portion of the Augmitto deposit which extends onto the western portion of the Cinderella Block. Based on the re-interpretation of structural data, the Augmitto deposit appears to be much more coherent than previously understood. As noted in the Company's press release of September 22, 2010, many of the historical drill holes at Augmitto did not completely penetrate the target mineralized zones, with the result that the historical primary target (lower Piche Group) was only tested by a limited number of holes.

Five drill holes have been completed for which assay results have been received. These results show that the vicinity of the Augmitto mine is mineralized with gold in several horizons, although the Piche Group and Footwall Zone remain Yorbeau's primary targets. Samples were analysed at Actlabs, AGAT Laboratories Ltd. and ALS Chemex.

Later in 2011, the Company intends to carry out a drill program of mostly in-fill and definition drilling at the Company's Lake Gamble and Cinderella East discoveries. This program will be followed up by additional resource estimates thereby growing the Company's NI 43-101 compliant resources in the four known gold deposits in the 6-km-long Augmitto-Astoria corridor.
