Mano River Resources Inc. ("Mano" or "the Company") the TSX-V and AIM
listed exploration and development company, with divisions focussed on
gold, diamonds and iron ore in West Africa, announces Board changes
effective as of 1 October 2007. These changes reflect the company's
evolution from a focus on exploration to mine development in all three
of the countries in which it operates, namely: Liberia, Sierra Leone
and Guinea.

New Executive Chairman

Guy Pas, founder of Mano, will be stepping down as Chairman, a position
he has held since 1998 and will remain on the Board as a Non-Executive
Director. David Barry Evans, aged 58, will join the Company on 1
October 2007, as Executive Chairman. David brings with him over 30
years of experience across the natural resources sector, with
particular expertise in the development of precious and base metal
projects for both large mining houses and emerging producers. David is
currently a Director for AIM listed Tianshan Goldfields Ltd and was
previously a Director of Kroondal Platinum Ltd and Aquarius Platinum
Ltd where he played an integral part in their growth, financing and
successful development. David is also a Director of Orlando Investments
plc.

David Evans has held the following directorships or partnerships within
the last five years:

David Evans currently holds 600,000 common shares of the Company.

New President and CEO

Dr. Tom Elder will be stepping down as President and CEO after nine
years and will remain on the Board as a Non-Executive Director to
ensure a smooth and comprehensive handover. Luis Guilherme Cabrita da
Silva, aged 36, presently Mano's Chief Financial Officer, will be
appointed President and CEO on 1 October 2007. Luis has been with the
Company since February of this year and has a strong corporate and
technical background. Since graduating as a mining engineer from
Camborne School of Mines, Luis gained extensive international
experience with blue-chip resource companies and holds an MBA from
Cranfield School of Management. Luis is also a Director of AiRENA Ltd.

Dr Tom Elder, outgoing President and CEO commented:

"I would like to thank our Chairman, Guy Pas, for his unrelenting and
pioneering contribution to the Company since inception which has been
critical to building Mano's portfolio of assets. As the Company is
moving its focus from resource definition to the mine development of
its core assets, I am delighted that we have been able to secure the
expertise of David Evans as Chairman. David has a proven track record
in bringing African mining projects to fruition, is highly regarded in
the industry and will be an enormous asset to Mano.
