MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - July 22,
2008) - Yorbeau Resources Inc. (TSX:YRB.A) Yorbeau Resources Inc.
("Yorbeau") is delighted to announce it has intercepted
visible gold in drill core from holes in the Lake Gamble area of its
Rouyn property, the first of several targets to be drilled in its 2008
drilling program. Drilling locations were selected based on results of
Yorbeau's geophysical surveys along the 12 km extent of the
Cadillac-Larder Lake Break (CLLB) on the property (see press release of
May 21/08.) Assay results are expected in late August.
The first six holes on the Lake Gamble target have been completed, but
the core has only been quick-logged and sampled. Each hole cut highly
altered and silicified Piche formation, which is the target ultramafic
formation on the Rouyn property and is the host rock for many gold
deposits along the 275-km-long CLLB. The alteration and silicification,
together with visible gold observed in core, supports Yorbeau's
exploration concept: that the 1,500 m long zone in the Lake Gamble area
where the Piche host rock exhibits certain geophysical characteristics
(magnetic low, resistivity high, chargeability high) is a high-priority
exploration drill target.
As noted, assay results will be available at the end of August. The
attached photos illustrate the presence of visible gold in the core.
The following table shows some of the results:
--------------------------------------------------------------------- Drill Piche Fm Piche Fm Drill VG at Zone Hole from to width of of Piche --------------------------------------------------------------------- 457 247.0 m 285.7 m 38.7 m Not observed Central zone Lac Gamble --------------------------------------------------------------------- 458 441.7 m 454.8 m 13.1 m Not observed Central zone Lac Gamble --------------------------------------------------------------------- 459 95.6 m 163.5 m 67.9 m 116.7 m NW Lake Gamble --------------------------------------------------------------------- 460 201.0 m 228.5 m 27.5 m 215 m NW Lake Gamble --------------------------------------------------------------------- 461 286.5 m 319.9 m 33.4 m Not observed NE Lake Gamble --------------------------------------------------------------------- 462 179.4 m 222.2 m 42.8 m 203 & 208 m NE Lake Gamble ---------------------------------------------------------------------
Drill holes in the NE Lake Gamble
section are located 200 m east of the Central zone while those in the
NW Lake Gamble section are located 250 m west of the Central zone. Therefore,
visible gold has been found in drill holes 450 m apart (hole 462 to 460
& 459) within the 1,500 m long priority zone, which remains largely
undrilled.
The central section contains drill hole 06-S-409 that returned 11.64
g/t over 2.57 m. Holes 457 and 458 were drilled to intercept the Piche
unit at shallower depths but within the same plane as hole 409. In addition, holes 459 and
460 are a short (about 20 m) offset of the 1984 hole 84-S-EB-17 that is
located slightly to the east of their section, which returned 58.63 g/t
Au over 1 m from the Piche at a core depth from 34 to 35.0 m (about 25
m vertical depth).
Photos of the visible gold together with a drill hole location map can

The qualified persons under National Instrument 43-101 are Thomas L.
Robyn Ph.D., CPG, RPG, Louis R. Bernier P.Geo., Ph.D. and Claude Gagnier,
P.Geo. Samples will be analyzed at Laboratoire Expert at Rouyn-Noranda
and ALS-Chemex in Val-d'Or, Quebec.
