ValGold Resources Ltd. is a Vancouver-based mining exploration company focused on high-value targets in the Guiana Shield of South America. As part of our expanding business, we are recruiting exploration geologists who are looking for challenging new roles in some of the most prospective ground for gold in northwest Guyana. Three positions are available, and only short-listed candidates will be contacted.

Country Manager, Guyana
This position requires an experienced geologist to oversee all aspects of the Company's exploration work in Guyana. About half of the candidate's time will be based in Georgetown and the other half in the field. Duties will include but not be limited to the following:

• Assist the field geologists with the planning and the execution of fieldwork
• Regular visits to the field to review work programs
• Oversee work done for ValGold by Georgetown office staff
• Assist and/or write exploration reports which are required on a regular basis
• Regular updates to the V.P. Exploration for ValGold
• Budget estimates as requested
• Maintain a land database and insure that our concessions are kept in good standing
• Interview and hire people as required
• Liaison work with the GGMC and other mining companies working in the Country

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Geology with at least 10 years relevant experience. A good working knowledge of MapInfo is important and Professional Geoscientist registration would be beneficial. This position will be on rotation approximately 6 weeks in Country and 2 out on break.

Field Geologists, Guyana (two positions)
These positions are mostly field orientated working in remote locations. Duties will include but not be limited to the following:

• Geological mapping, prospecting and sampling
• Overseeing field workers/sampling programs
• Assisting with field logistics
• Planning and overseeing field work programs
• Overseeing drill programs/logging core
• Data collection and manipulation, and report writing
• Regular communication with the Country Manager

These positions require a Bachelor's degree in Geology with a minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Working knowledge of Mapinfo would be beneficial. Potential candidates can expect work rotation of approximately 6 weeks in Country and 2 out on break.
