Golden Harp Resources Intersects Gold Mineralization in
Preliminary Drill Program
======================================================================
Vancouver - March 20, 2008 - Golden Harp Resources Inc. (TSXV:GHR)
today announced results from a preliminary, 1000-metre, diamond drill
program on its Copper Hill gold and base metal project. Gold
mineralization was intersected in several holes in a new target area in
the northeastern portion of the extensive 145 square kilometer
property. Further evaluation and additional drilling in this area is
warranted.
Six holes were drilled (GH1-5 and GH8). The program was important for a
number of reasons:
.. The drill program outlined a significant new gold target area on the
property that is virtually untested. Information obtained from this
drill program indicates that this area warrants further investigation
and additional drill testing.
.. Holes GH-2 to GH-5 and GH-8 were all drilled within a very large
(3.5 km by 1.5 km) magnetic high geophysical anomaly. These drill holes
confirmed gold mineralization in this broad area of interest, which is
associated with a highly favourable geological environment for gold
deposition.
.. A wide zone (31.36 m) of anomalous gold mineralization intersected
in Hole GH-8 opened up a new target zone with a potential strike length
of 700 meters within the larger area of interest. Further drilling will
be prioritized along that strike based on the results of a geophysical
data review to evaluate the potential for structural traps.
Significant results or values greater than 1 g/t gold from the most
recent program are presented in the table below:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Hole No From To Metres g/t Au Comment
--------------------------------------------------------------------
GH 4 127.23 128.00 0.77 1.97 Persistence Target Area
--------------------------------------------------------------------
GH 5 111.00 112.00 1.00 1.02 Persistence Target Area

--------------------------------------------------------------------
222.90 223.40 0.50 1.29 Persistence Target Area

Note: GH4 & GH5 drilled from same collar at -45 deg. & -61 deg. dips
respectively and lengths shown are core lengths as true widths cannot
be determined at this time.
The drill program was initiated to evaluate four airborne geophysical
anomalies and a historical gold occurrence. All of this work was
conducted on the northeastern portion of the Company's land holdings in
Knight and Natal Townships.
Approximately 500 metres of drilling (Holes GH-4 & GH-5) was completed
to evaluate a documented historical intercept of broad anomalous gold
mineralization spatially associated with ultramafic volcanics and
quartz calcite stockworks. Similar geology was intersected in Holes
GH-4 and GH-5 along with a number of narrow gold bearing intercepts and
minor anomalous gold bearing sections.
Hole GH-8 was drilled to evaluate an airborne geophysical target. The
hole intersected multiple graphitic zones explaining the anomaly. Below
the main conductive graphitic horizon, an intercalated suite of
sericite-altered mafic volcanics and graphitic zones was intersected
between 93.65 m and 124.16 m. This suite was intruded by a series of
altered quartz feldspar dykes. Fine sulphide mineralization was found
to be associated with both intrusives as well as the intercalated suite
of volcanics and graphitic zones. Within this altered mineralized
interval a distinct broad moderately anomalous gold zone was noted from
92.8 m to 124.16 m (31.36 m). Further drilling will be initiated to
follow up on this zone, which is thought to be associated with the main
conductive horizon traced for approximately 700 metres of strike
length.
Holes GH-1 to GH-3 did not intersect the proposed airborne geophysical
targets. The information obtained from these holes in conjunction with
the geophysical data will be re-examined to determine why the holes did
not intersect a conductive zone. All holes were sampled despite the
lack of a conductive zone and some weakly anomalous gold mineralization
was noted in Holes GH-2 and GH-3.
All gold assays for this program were completed by Swastika Labs using
industry standard fire assay procedures. A series of blanks and
standards were also submitted with each 20-sample batch for quality
control purposes.
Golden Harp is a Canadian mineral exploration company with an enviable
property position, covering 145 km2 over six townships in the prolific
Abitibi Greenstone Belt in Northern Ontario. The 100%-owned Copper Hill
project hosts four known gold zones, a copper zone, and large portions
of the property have yet to be evaluated. The Company's strategy is to
provide its shareholders with value growth opportunities through the
exploration and discovery of new mineral deposits and by building
strategic partnerships to maximize the exploration activity and
discovery potential of its substantial land holdings. For further
