Attention Business Editors:
Canadian Arrow Mines Ltd. - KENBRIDGE DRILLING 42.5 metres of 1.41% Ni, 0.54% Cu
SUDBURY, ON, Dec. 19 /CNW/ - Canadian Arrow Mines, Ltd. (CRO: TSX-V) (the
"Company), reports more assay results from holes drilled on both the proposed
pit and underground portions of the Kenbridge Deposit. Drilling has been
completed on the shallow open pit portion of the deposit and both rigs are
currently delineating the deeper portions of the deposit.
Recent assay highlights from holes within the limit of the proposed pit:
- 1.41% Ni, 0.54% Cu over a core length of 42.5 m - KB-07-130
- (including 2.88% Ni, 0.67% Cu over a core length of 9.0 m)
- 0.60% Ni, 0.31% Cu over a core length of 91.5m - KB-07-129
- 0.56% Ni, 0.22% Cu over a core length of 29.5 m - KB-07-86
- (including 1.19% Ni, 0.45% Cu over a core length of 10.3 m)
- 0.47% Ni, 0.19% Cu over a core length of 43.1 m - KB-07-112
Recent assay highlights from holes below the limit of the proposed pit:
- 1.54% Ni, 0.99% Cu over a core length of 26.1m KB-07-120
- (including 5.71% Ni, 0.88% Cu over a core length of 2.5 m)
- 1.00% Ni, 0.37% Cu over a core length of 16.1 m KB-07-116
- 0.99% Ni, 0.49% Cu over a core length of 8.15m KB-07-131
Todd Keast VP exploration commented, "We are extremely pleased with these
recent higher grade drill results from the open pit portion of the orebody.
These intersections will certainly contribute to the pit and overall project
economics."
Mr. Keast adds, "The open pit portion of the deposit has been drilled at
a section spacing of 15 metres. This level of geological/assay control ensures
an accurate interpretation of the deposit, which will provide a higher level
of confidence in the upcoming Preliminary Assessment Study. The new results
provide moderate extensions to the north portion of the deposit (KB-07-107),
and fills a small gap at the south portion of the deposit (KB-07-126). The
deeper holes demonstrate good continuity to the mineralization at depth and
along strike."
Kim Tyler, President of Canadian Arrow also commented, "As more results
are received any opportunities for shallow, higher grade zones that offer an
opportunity for quick extraction will be examined in our upcoming Preliminary
Assessment Study."

Analytical Method
-----------------
Mineralized diamond drill hole intervals reported are down hole core
lengths only. NQ diameter drill core samples are split in half; one half being
retained in its original core box and the second half sent to an independent
commercial laboratory for analysis. Samples are analyzed by ISO 17025
accredited Accurassay Laboratories in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Samples analyzed
for base metals (nickel, copper, and cobalt) are digested using aqua regia
with an atomic absorption finish.
The exploration program is being carried out under the direction of The
Company's Vice President of Exploration, Todd Keast P. Geo., a qualified
