To our shareholders:
In response to current global market conditions and our own
share price decline, I decided to send you a quick note to reassure you that we
are progressing well with our planned objectives for 2007and that there are no
material changes in our operations or plans.
For those of you that have been calling and leaving
messages, I apologize for any delays in responding. Cathy Divito, our
Communications Manager is currently on maternity leave and the replacement we
hired for Cathy is no longer with the Company. We are currently working
to fill that position and improve our communications with you.
In the meantime, if you have any questions on our
activities, please call me directly
or drop me an e-mail at the co-ordinates below. I will try to get back to
you quickly. The best way to reach me is by e-mail since I am on my
Blackberry all the time and can respond to questions much faster.
The series of news releases we put out on June 18th,
July 3rd, July 6th, July 11th and July 25th
announced the start of a very busy exploration season on our properties.
I invite you to re-visit those releases and the related property information on
our website for detailed information.
Here is where we are:
Ø Drilling and
ground exploration is on-going on Baffin gold property, Nunavut. We do
not expect to see any assay results from drilling until sometime next month
giving the logistics.
Ø We have
commenced the next round of exploration on the Hermitage uranium project,
Newfoundland. This phase of work is designed to follow-up on the encouragement
from the work to date and better refine drill targets for the next round of
drilling in the fall. The drill is on-site.
Ø Exploration
work funded by our partners is on-going on our 100% Olympic Cu-Au-U project in
the Yukon and on our 100% B.C. Cu-Au properties located south of and in the
same belt of rocks as the Kemess Mine. We will report results from
these projects when we receive reports from our partners.
Ø A partner is
currently flying an airborne radiometric and magnetic survey our 50% owned
Cochrane Pond uranium property in Newfoundland.
Ø We have had
recent meetings with our partner regarding our South Voisey’s Bay Nickel
project in Labrador and are finalizing a plan to re-activate the project
located on what is called the “Pants Lake Gabbro” south of the main
Voisey’s Bay deposit. We should be able to provide more
details very soon.
