VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Primero Mining Corp. (PPP) on Tuesday reported a loss of $5.4 million in its third quarter.
The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 3 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were less than 1 cent on a per-share basis.
The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 3 cents per share.
The precious metals producer posted revenue of $79.2 million in the period.
The company's shares closed at $2.32. A year ago, they were trading at $3.42.
