KEY POINTS

Jinfeng

�� Commercial gold production achieved in September.

Gold recovered was 14,118 ounces for the September quarter, with 8,781 ounces or 62% recovered in the month of September.

Gold recoveries in both the flotation and BIOX areas exceeded expectations and demonstrate the robustness of the circuit.

Approval received to commence underground development. Approximately 240m of the decline is already developed, with advance averaging 4.3m per day.

Further drilling has again extended strong mineralisation to the east (16m at 8.6 g/t gold) as well as up plunge to the west (31m at 3.9 g/t gold).

Deep hole now underway to test prospective contact between Triassic sandstones and Permian limestones.

White Mountain

Development of the White Mountain mine approved.

Mining and construction contractors have mobilised at site. Long lead items have been ordered and earthworks are in progress.

Following completion of basic engineering, the project development capital costs remain at US$55 million and commercial production is still expected early in 2009.

Targeted production of 70,000 ounces per year at a cash cost of less than US$250 per ounce.

Step-out drilling in the northeast extension area intercepted 13m at 10.4g/t gold and 9m at 5.0g/t gold.

Regional exploration has been accelerated and drilling commenced along the major fault zone 5km to the southeast of White Mountain.

Exploration

Entered into an option to acquire an interest in a joint venture to explore the Weipai project, located 12km southeast of Jinfeng.

Drilling programs are now being conducted on seven prospects (excluding the Jinfeng and White Mountain deposits).

Sino Gold Fields Alliance selected four priority belts to explore and has identified three potential acquisitions.

Corporate

Offer made to acquire Golden China Resources Corporation which has assets complementary to Sino Golds portfolio.

Offer made to convertible noteholders.

Net available cash of US$62 million at the end of September 2007.
