Cascabel Project Update
SolGold Moves to 85% Ownership
Hole 5 Terminated in Mineralisation

The Board of SolGold (AIM code: SOLG) is pleased to provide the following corporate and project update for the Stage 1 drill program at the Alpala prospect within the Cascabel Project at the Company�s copper-gold porphyry exploration project in northern Ecuador.

Highlights:

•  SolGold and Cornerstone execute on all arrangements for SolGold to move to an 85% ownership position of the Cascabel copper-gold porphyry project.
• Hole 5 terminated at 1370 metres whilst still in mineralisation, at limit of rig capability in difficult ground conditions.
• Assays for most of the final stages of Hole 5 expected over the next ten days.
