Such an fear mongering title !

The recent incident was an important one - probably the most important in the last 2 years - so it had to influence the price. What gave confidence back to the market is the quick reaction of the developers and miners to fix the problem.

Bitcoin is one form of money - among others - with very interesting and promising properties.
Still, I agree it still is a tiny illiquid niche market. But that's why it has a lot of potential !
