In response, there is one protected nation upon the earth in which, in return, Jesus immediately declares war to act as the Protectorate for the people of that nation under Him as King. Revelation 18 is thus fulfilled. Fire sweeps across a nation's land burning all who have covenanted with the beast to declare war against the Christians there. All who remain on the land are those who have not declared war against the Christians -- and the Christians. The net effect is the destruction of the former Government.
