>300 Tons a Day of Nuclear Waste from Japan's Fukushima Nuclear Plant Pours ...  - Mish - Global Economic Analysis
"According to AFP, TEPCO estimates between 20 trillion and 40 trillion becquerels of radioactive tritium have spilled into the ocean."

AFP : Agence France-Presse is a French news agency

So now we are down to listening to the MSM from France reporting on science?
Have you read what the French MSM reports about French economics?

20-40t Bq's of tritium in the last 2.5 years? Have you ever heard of Avogadro's number/constant?
1 becquerel=1 disintegration per second. That is 1 atom undergoing radioactive decay per second.
And the atomic weight of a tritium molecule is what?
There are roughly 7.8x10E7 seconds in 2.5 years.
Let us assume it is a European trillion 1x10E18 ergo 4x10E19 (for 40t Bq) versus the Avogadro constant at 6.022x10E23 times that atomic weight of a tritium molecule.
The final answer is in grams of tritium that have leaked into the ocean and decayed in the last 2.5 years. Do your own math!
Tritium half-life is 12.33 years.
The reality is simple; trust MSM to blow everything way out of proportion.

I never trust a MSM journalist to have any understanding of the subject matter when it comes STEM. If they understood it, they wouldn't be a journalist now would they?
STEM: science, technology, engineering and math. STEM pays much, much better than journalism. Liberal arts students with C+ averages need not apply.

If you lack a fairly solid general understanding of a subject, yah might wanna refrain from parroting French MSM.

Début de l'article :Officials in Japan hid the fact that the Fukushima nuclear plant has been pouring hundreds of tons of nuclear waste water into the ocean every day and that a containment barrier has been breached. Here are a few links. On Tuesday the BBC reported Fukushima Radioactive Leak a New Emergency Japan's nuclear watchdog has said the crippled Fukushima nuclear plant is facing a new "emergency" caused by a build-up of radioactive groundwater. A barrier built to contain the water has already been bre... Lire la suite
