>Ohio State Gets Armored Fighting Vehicle: “Specifically Designed for Asymmetric Warfare”  - Mac Slavo - ShtfPlan
How to protect skools in soviet Amerika.

"and active killers loose on campus"
Have any of these geniuses, Gary Lewis included, thought that hunting a killer on campus would most likely entail close quarters combat inside buildings rather than running them down in an open field or parking lot?

“hostage scenarios”
So what are the plans, run the vehicle through a wall thereby disarming the gunmen rendering the hostages safe? Umm… What about the possibility of running over the hostages?

“bomb evaluation”
So what, the guys in the MRAP drive up alongside a bomb in a hallway locker (dang tight squeeze in the hallways and the stairways were a bitch to navigate around but let’s play along with the idea), peek out of a window and declare a bomb active (without getting out of the MRAP) or just another forgotten back pack on campus? A far better idea would be to let the police bomb squad take over but hey, this way the university has a cool assault vehicle in the garage.

So basically there was no thought put into this, someone was just compensating for a small p___s and needed a big ass MRAP on campus to make himself feel better. And the students, well I’m sure they feel much safer knowing there’s a vehicle on campus that can run over them in the rush to disarm a forgotten lunch bag in the park. Nothing like military armor standing around to relieve tensions.

And universities are run by these jackass’s? How is it that our educational system is in the hands of these morons who obviously didn’t learn a thing when they supposedly attended the school?

The Ohio State University Department of Public Safety has acquired an armored military vehicle that looks like it belongs in Iraq or Afghanistan. Gary Lewis, a senior director of media relations at OSU, told The Daily Caller via email that the “unique, special-purpose vehicle is a replacement” for the “police fleet.” He called the armored jalopy “an all-hazard...
