You've made some assumptions about what my mental state was when I posted my comment and then judged me based on those assumptions, in your words that would be anti-intellectual. Stupid humans. =)

My point is that crowd sourcing will fund all manner of stupidity while these people that provide funds avoid looking at what makes them uncomfortable, things like homeless people. I didn't comment on the police state simply because there is more then enough being said about that subject but rarely do you see anyone standing up for kids that can't get a hot meal due to circumstances they have no control over. Ask yourself, if someone started a crowd sourcing project to put winter coats on the backs of and bring hot meals to all homeless kids how many supporters would the project get?
