I suggest Mr. Herlin hire a proofreader to clean up his hapless prose.
1. reign in = change to rein in (like a horse)
2. US GDP of $16 Billion = change to $16 Trillion (a shameful error)
3. french = change to French
4. american = change to American
etc.

Incidentally, I have seen the total derivative package cited at $15 quadrillion in numerous places. How about a reconciliation between the two numbers, which differ by a factor of 20-fold, at least using the American style of numeration? Who's right?
