Although I find ready agreement with most of your post, I have a serious problem with this:

Nonsense! Were this not about payback, we would hold an official "Truth and Reconciliation" program similar to the one held in South Africa after the collapse of apartheid.

Then there are these statements of yours:
"I want every bit of this out in the open, preferably in front of an international war crimes tribunal."
"Top Five War Crimes Candidates"
"... but I will take any prosecutions we can get."

No sir, this IS about payback. Your words betrayed you. You and many others seek not a "Truth and Reconciliation" program, but rather a full-fledged pogrom against the accused.

As yet, they are only accused and NOT convicted of anything. I support their transfer to an international war crimes tribunal for investigation and probable trial. And unfortunately, I doubt that capital punishment will be among the sentencing options. In cases of torture, I fully support public executions. All TV programming preempted, air on all channels and rebroadcast every evening at 7PM local for 2 weeks.

At least I have the intellectual honesty to admit that "It is about payback". They put my friends, family and my troops in harms way, ran up astronomical bills that trashed our money even more, played empire builder through military colonialism, killed who knows how many as collateral damage, increased world tension, etc.
We reap what we sow. It is time for serious weeding.

Most folks have no knowledge of the Nuremberg Trials.
It is time to remember that often in order to prevent epidemics, we must administer shots.
Time to line them up.

Début de l'article :As horrific as the CIA torture revelations were, please understand that most of the investigation is still classified. I have to wonder, what's in the report we did not see. Although I commend senator Dianne Feinstein for making sure excerpts of the CIA torture report saw the light of day, her efforts did not go far enough.
