The US' Suicidal Strategy On Ukraine

Suicidal? - Most certainly. Against our better interests? Most Assuredly. This loud and threatening noises emanating from the pie hole of the US Government against the Russians are merely distractions as the practitioners of the new and twisted form of 'capitalism' sharpen their fangs to strike deep into the heart of the Russian and eastern European economies. One could imagine what would happen if Putin and crew armed the Mexican drug cartels with the latest tactical weaponry, troops to follow, while claiming that self-determination, freedom and democracy could only be achieved in Mexico by doing this. I would immediately be searching for a big, deep hole to crawl in for awhile. People actually voted for these guys? We are now in the process of terminally alienating the nation with a good portion of the earth's natural and strategic resources and even I'm aware that this option doesn't present many profitable business opportunities. Perhaps Putin hasn't offered western finance a big enough cut and they're pouting now, shouting some nonsense about retaliation, silos and how exceptional they are. At this point, I don't know if we have enough people in white coats to handle this crowd, but I'd be willing to bet the white coat business is the next growth industry.

The cease-fire has broken, fighting is intensifying, and the western-supported and installed leadership in Kiev is losing the campaign. At this point, the West's choice is to either double down and bet even more on a badly failing set of policies, or admit it has lost this round and seek to deescalate the situation.
