>Why we should abandon the State - George F. Smith - Barbarous Relic
What a gigantic pile of horse excrement.
Cherry pick everything that has gone wrong.
Completely discount the hard fact that the author and the grand-master guru of damn foolishness Lew Rockwell owe everything they have achieved to the system they rail against.
Gen Butler stated, "War is a racket." So with a wave of the magic smoke and mirrors wand, it gets substantially altered with Butler's name attached as some sort of valid claim of state as the racket. This is how weak minds are tripped up.

The number one problem is, was and for at least the foreseeable future will be that of universal suffrage.
People with no chips in the game are allowed, nay encouraged to vote on spending other people's money.
The people will usually vote for goods and services they haven't earned and lacking a direct vote, will vote for the person who promises the goods.
Think about it for a moment, Joe the Plumber knows all the stats for his favorite football team, but hasn't a clue about how his Senator or Representative voted on the last bill. Hell, he doesn't even know what bills are before Congress.
And this same ash and trash voter praises the word democracy when in fact, the Constitution promises a Republican form of government.

Problem number two is the concept of corporations.
The change from company to corporation only accomplished one thing: shareholder immunity from liability.
The argument was with that immunity, few entities would invest the amount of capital needed.

Problem three is income and property taxes.

Problem four is central banking.

Problem five is fiat money.

If you've been paying attention, you will notice that problems two through five are directly linked to problem one.

Folks need to realize that without a moderately strong central government, what emerges is "rule of the clan."
No individual, no freedom, nothing but compliance or death. We are talking about the same gimmick used by the environmentalist and political activists where everyone shares equally in communal guilt for every real or imaginary wrong against ___________(fill in the blank).

We voted for and got the government we deserve.
The problem isn't the "State", it is the mental and moral state of the voters.
All too soon, we will get caught in the coming firestorm.
And the Libertarians will recommend just privatize that as well.

Début de l'article :Revisionism, according to Harry Elmer Barnes, is bringing history into accord with the facts. Why would history and factual evidence be at odds?Because governments, per Orwell, falsify the past to keep the population subservient. If people really knew what governments had done they would want less of it than they have. How much less is the question Lew Rockwell addresses in his book, Against the State: An Anarcho-Capitalist Manifesto, released in May, 2014.  As the title makes clear, Rockwell a... Lire la suite
