It is ALL about velocity of money. No velocity, no economy. Warp-speed velocity, no confidence in the money.

Add more quantity of money and the dynamics shift.

Statistics are a marvelous tool, but it only works in a stable system. Individual people are not a stable system and individuals can tilt the mindset of the masses. Ergo, loss of stability and statistics fail due to too much variability.

Hence, everything is fine. There is no inflation. The American people need to increase spending. Yada, yada talking heads.
