Price of Oil is going south which suggests to me that fewer people are buying. Consequently, all that deadly pollution will be also decreasing, which by all accounts will help with lowering the dead set certain catastrophic warming of the planet.
Win win situation.
People in Alaska and Greenland will be growing tomatoes next year, and in 2-3 years we can expect a new variety of bananas.
Monkeys, AKA politicians and economists will be rejoicing that the whole world is now a Banana Republic.

Meanwhile...Gold which is closely related in colour ( to bananas) will remain very adaptable to any climate.
