The Alberta project is located on the west side of the Athabasca basin and covers the western arm of Lake Athabasca. It is a 20km by 90 km block of 13 permits that stretches from the Saskatchewan border to just north of the community of Fort Chipewyan.

Despite the presence of the Maybelle River and the Maurice Bay deposits in this sector of the Athabasca basin, the project area has no recorded exploration. This is undoubtedly due to the fact that the project area is completely in the lake. However the lake is very shallow (3 -- 14 metres) in the project area and will not pose a problem for modern exploration techniques.
