Atomic Provides Progress Update on Drilling Program on Dolores Anticline, Colorado
December 6, 2007 - Vancouver, B.C.: Atomic Minerals Ltd. (ATL: TSX-V) is pleased to update its progress on its initial drill program on the Dolores Anticline in Colorado. The Company commenced drilling hole SP9 on November 14, 2007. This hole encountered the Chinle Formation at 2100 feet. Hole SP1, on the opposite flank of the Dolores Anticline, reached the Chinle Formation at 1560 feet. As reported in previous news releases, economically important amounts of uranium have been produced from the Salt Wash Member of the Morrison Formation of Late Jurassic Age, and the Moss Back Member of the Late Triassic Chinle Formation in and near the Uravan Mineral Belt in San Miguel, Montrose and Dolores Counties, Colorado (United States Geological Survey 1968, Daniel R. Shawe, Denver, Colorado).
Atomic's drill contractors intend to continue working their way across the Dolores Anticline with between seven and eleven add
itional drill holes planned for the coming weeks, weather permitting. This portion of the drill program is scheduled to be completed by December 21, 2007, with assay results expected to follow early in 2008.

The Malawi Extension, located in the Republic of Malawi on south-west border of Tanzania, hosts the Kayelekera deposit which Paladin Resources is currently developing into a mine. Other mining companies exploring in the area include Mantra Resources and Western Metals (both in Tanzania).
