HOUSTON (AP) _ Harvest Natural Resources Inc. (HNR) on Monday reported fourth-quarter net income of $100.6 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Houston-based company said it had net income of $9. Losses, adjusted to account for discontinued operations, came to 52 cents per share.
For the year, the company reported net income of $66.6 million, or $5.35 per share, swinging to a profit in the period.
Harvest Natural Resources shares have risen 9 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has nearly tripled in the last 12 months.
