Atomic Announces Approval of 43-101 Report for 1761 Sq. Km.
Mbinga Uranium Project in Tanzania

January 30, 2008 - Vancouver, B.C.:  Atomic Minerals Ltd. (ATL: TSX-V) is very pleased to announce that it has received final approval from the TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange") for the technical report (the "Technical Report") prepared in accordance with National Instrument 43-101 for the three mineral licenses located on the East Malawi Extension Block in the United Republic of Tanzania, Africa (the "Licenses").  The Licenses are presently owned by Geo Can Resources Company Ltd. along with a number of other licenses which Atomic has agreed by way of letter of intent to option a 90% interest in, as detailed in the Company's news release dated January 28, 2008.  A map showing the general location of the Licenses is available on Atomic's website at the following URL link:

The Technical Report, which will be available under Atomic's public company documents on www.sedar.com, describes the Licenses in detail.  The Technical Report also sets out in detail the two-part, USD$1.35 million dollar exploration program recommended by Roger Newell, Ph.D., the author of the Technical Report.  The report is also available for viewing on Atomic's website at the following URL link:

With the approval of the Technical Report, Atomic can now proceed with the filing of required materials describing the proposed transaction with the Exchange.

Atomic Minerals Ltd. also holds leases over a total of 932 mining claims located in both Dolores and San Miguel counties in south-western Colorado, approximately 30 miles from Denison Mine Corp's White Mesa Mill.  Atomic has completed six of a proposed thirteen-hole drill program.  Samples from this drilling are currently being assayed.  Atomic also holds a letter of intent to option a 90% interest in a further 1585 mining claims in Dolores County.  Atomic holds leases over an additional 272 mining claims located in the northern part of Colorado in Grand County.
