ATOMIC SIGNS FINAL LETTER OF INTENT TO ACQUIRE
February 28, 2008 - Vancouver, B.C.: Atomic Minerals Ltd. (ATL: TSX-V) is very pleased to announce that it has signed a definitive option agreement (the "Option") with Geo Can Resources Company Ltd. ("Geo Can") for its land package in the United Republic of Tanzania on the terms contained in the January 28th amended letter of intent and described in Atomic's news release of the same day. The Option allows Atomic to acquire up to a 90% interest in a land package now totalling over 940,000 acres (the "Property") divided into 10 separate licenses (the "Licenses"). Having received the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange ("TSX-V"), Atomic is now able to proceed with full-scale exploration of this land package. Warren McIntyre, Atomic's CEO, noted "Initial groundwork and geophysics has already been started on our three licenses located in the Mbinga district, which were the subject of our 43-101 report. We are committed to
flying airborne surveys on these projects upon successful permitting. This should be completed by April. Upon receipt of this information we will follow up with an aggressive drilling program slated for the late spring and summer of 2008.
