Mr. Charles Ross reports
EXPLORATION UPDATE
Goldex Resources Corporation is pleased to announce that
fieldwork has commenced on its Arco I and Arco II properties.
The first of two twenty-day field work periods of
geological mapping and outcrop sampling commenced on June 7th and was
completed on June 27th 2008. Initial geological mapping has been completed
over the southern 1/3 of the project and several new vein structures have
been identified and sampled. The second field work period commenced on
July 10th and is estimated to be completed by July 30th. A third work
period may be required for additional sampling, map compilation, drafting and
writing of the progress report. Project reports will be finalized after
all assays are received; drill targets may be defined at that time.
Two geologists and a field supervisor have been retained
to conduct the work and local workers are also being employed.
Goldex?s Arco II property, situated in Mexico?s precious
metals belt, is adjacent to the Arco I property and was acquired on January
17th 2008. This increased the area under exploration in Mexico by over
700%. In 2007 the Penoles La Cienega mine, which lies approximately 100
km to the west of El Arco, produced approximately 139,000 oz gold, 993,000 oz
silver, 8000 tons lead and 9500 tons zinc.
Goldex is well funded to carry out this year?s exploration
and drilling programs.
Goldex Resources Corporation is a junior
exploration company exploring for gold in the Americas. Goldex's
strategically-focused operations
highlight prestigious properties, a world-class geology
team and a global investment following.
