Announces Non-Brokered Private Placement of Up to $2 Million

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 23, 2011) - Angus Mining (Namibia) Inc. (News - Market indicators) ("Angus" or the "Company") is pleased to announce a proposed non-brokered private placement (the "Placement") of up to 8 million common shares of Angus at a price of $0.25 per share for gross proceeds of up to $2,000,000. 

Gross proceeds from the Placement will be used to continue assaying drill core at the Ondundu Gold Project in West-Central Namibia, for the satisfaction of a portion of the purchase price of the recently announced Silver Reef acquisition, and for general working capital. 

The closing of the Placement is anticipated in late June 2011 and is subject to the receipt of all required regulatory approvals. Common shares issued in the Placement will be subject to a 4 months holding period. It is anticipated that Forsys Metals Corp. will participate in the Placement.
