Set new drill targets in Guatemala

Goldex Resources Update

Vancouver, June 6, 2007- Goldex Resources Corporation (TSX-V: GDX) www.goldex.ca Goldex Resources set new drill targets in Guatemala, and to fly property in Mexico.

As the rainy season begins in Guatemala, drilling has come to a close until later this fall. Goldex has completed phase one drilling on the El Pato Project in Guatemala and assay results for all holes have been received.  The results of the phase one Goldex drill program have been incorporated into the database and a set of new cross sections and plan maps have been made to plot geology, structures and mineralization.

Drilling results in the Principle Sectors generally confirms that the gold mineralization encountered by Goldex Resources is similar in thickness and grade to the holes drilled by the United Nations and Guatemala Department of Mines. Goldex holes 9 through 12, which are located in the El Pital sector, have intercept values that range in grade between 0 Au g/T and 13.028 Au g/T. As stated previously, a detailed study will be completed with the construction of cross sections, as well as plan maps and phase two drill targets. More drilling is clearly needed as there are additional targets to be tested in areas outside of the Principle Sectors.  In particular, the mineralized sector El Sauce presents five or six targets with exceptionally high surface, trench and chip samples- many of which had values of 10 Au g/T. Goldex has plans to bring the SOCOCO drill back to El Pato and drill both El Sauce as well as the phase two targets.

Goldex is very excited about its additional property El Arco, Durango State Mexico. El Arco is located in the Central Plateau gold and silver belt, near the historic silver, led and zinc district of Tejamen. Goldex is currently developing an exploration plan that will commence with flying the property this summer. El Arco has many notable neighbours, including Penoles La Cienega mine in Durango, which produced 1600 t/d at 7.58 g/Au, 112 g/t and 3.66% Pb/ZN. Also, Goldex Resources is currently evaluating additional properties for potential acquisition in the Americas.

Goldex Resources Corp. is a TSX.V listed junior resource company exploring for gold in the Americas.
