Symantec Corp. (SYMC) today provided an update on expected results for the third fiscal quarter of 2016. The Company anticipates that it will report GAAP Revenue, Non-GAAP Operating Margin and Non-GAAP diluted EPS for the third fiscal quarter of 2016 that are above the midpoint of the guidance provided in its press release dated November 5, 2015.
That guidance, and these views on anticipated results for the third quarter, exclude the operations of Symantec’s Veritas information management business. Symantec is filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission a Form 8-K setting forth certain information regarding the preliminary operating results of Veritas for the quarter ended January 1, 2016.
