Plug Power Inc (NASDAQ: PLUG), a leader in hydrogen fuel cell infrastructure, reported huge jumps in revenue and customer base expansion ahead of an earnings call Thursday morning.
The company posted a nearly 50 percent year-over-year revenue increase in 2015, with over $100 million in sales and $200 million in contract bookings.

Analysts expected $100.63 million in revenue.
"The performance of our team throughout 2015 coupled with the interest and demand we are seeing from customers has put the company in a great position to continue its success in the coming year," said CEO Andy Marsh.
The company did, however, unveil fiscal year 2016 revenue guidance slightly below expectations. Plug said it sees FY16 revenue at $150 million versus $150.66 million estimates from Wall Street. Shares are down 5 percent on the day.
