Grant of Planning Permission for Bulk Processing Trial at Cononish Gold and Silver Project
Scotgold Resources Limited (the "Company")(ASX:SGZ, AIM: SGZ) is pleased to announce that the Company has received notification from the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park Planning Authority ("LLTNPPA") that its application for "Change of use of existing shed to processing plant, siting of container and ancillary equipment, storage of residual material. (Temporary Permission)" has been approved, subject to certain conditions. These conditions are principally related to: hours of work, duration of trial, environmental and visual impacts, remediation and monitoring and reporting, and are considered appropriate to the Company's application.
Full details of the decision notice and attaching conditions can be found on the Company's website at www.scotgoldresources.com and the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park website.
Richard Gray, Chief Executive Officer commented: "The professional approach taken by the LLTNPPA's team has enabled a rigorous and diligent report to be concluded within the target timelines and a positive conclusion reached. It is also significant that the LLTNPPA have given consideration to both the employment created directly by the Bulk Processing Trial ("BPT") and indirectly by facilitating the full development of the Cononish Gold and Silver Project. With this permission now in place, the BPT can proceed with on site activities and the Company expects to release further news on this in the coming weeks."
