Vancouver, British Columbia - June 29, 2016 Luna Gold Corp. (TSX-LGC, "Luna" or the "Company") today announced the results for its Annual Meeting of Shareholders (the "Meeting" or the "AGM") held yesterday in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

A total of 223,366,182 common shares of the 289,206,727 shares outstanding were voted at the Meeting, representing approximately 77.23% of the issued and outstanding common shares of the Company.
