Vancouver, BC - December 10, 2015: Astur Gold Corp. (TSX-V: AST, Frankfurt: CDC) ('Astur Gold' or the 'Company') is pleased to announce the re-election of Mr. Douglas Turnbull , Dr. Ignacio García Matos, Mr. Cary Pinkowski, and Dr. Patrick Moore to the Board of Directors. The shareholders also passed all other resolutions including ordinary resolutions to: (i) appoint the auditor of the Company for the year; and (ii) approve the Company's stock option plan.
Following the shareholders meeting, the Board appointed Mr. Turnbull as President and Chief Executive Officer and Mr. DeMare as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary. The Board also appointed Mr. Pinkowski, Dr. Matos and Dr. Moore to the audit committee.
