2016 Woolgar Gold Exploration Program Underway
Following a very successful entitlement rights issue (see ASX announcement 10 August 2016), Strategic Minerals Corporation N.L. (ASX: SMC, Strategic or the Company) is pleased to confirm that site preparation activities have been completed and the IP Program is underway as announced in the June 2016 Quarterly Activities Report (ASX announcement 21 July 2016).
Specifically, Strategic is planning to complete the following in the 2016 exploration program:
Approximately 6 to 7 lines totalling thirteen kilometres of IP geophysical survey. These will cover the entirety of the Lower Camp main structures and the zone of intersection.
Approximately 15 reverse circulation drill holes, comprising 3,500 metres. The drilling will be divided between the continued expansion and definition of the BVS gold resource and testing of known prospective targets at depth in Belle Brandon and Sexton.
Targeted soil sampling and analysis with the NITON and detailed mapping to expand the dataset over the most perspective targets principally within Lower Camp.
The Company looks forward to updating the market of the results from this programme once they become available.
