Oremex Resources continues to demonstrate the strengthening relationship it is building with the community of Tejamen. Recently, Paul Connors of the Canadian Embassy in Mexico visited the community and came away with a first-hand understanding of the project and a sense of the economic and social benefits the project would provide for the local community.

The Embassy Trade Commissioner said after his visit, "Canadian companies represent over three quarters of the foreign mining companies in Mexico.  Typically, these investments represents economic development in remote parts of Mexico, with a high level of corporate social responsibility. As part of our outreach activities, the Embassy visits Canadian mining projects to support the projects and to discuss with local community leaders their perspectives.  I am delighted to be in Tejamen to see firsthand this project and to hear the perspectives of several leaders in the community."

Mr. Connors and other officials of the Canadian Embassy in Mexico have met with Oremex management on numerous occasions to be updated on the project's progress and to assist in moving the project forward.

Paul Connors of the Canadian Embassy in Mexico met with the Municipal President Fernando Barragan Gutierrez and residents of the community of Tejamen where he listened to the investment plans for the mining company "Nuevo Ideal" (Oremex) along with a recounting of the local history.
