Magic Inflation

Economic theory has been debased as soundly as our currency over the last 35 years. It no longer ties to reason or logical thought. It is just a means to perpetuate a generation of fraud.

We are at the point in the Ponzi scheme where the curtain is being lifted and we see that our money is gone. It has been wasted on creating 3 bubbles that have enriched Wall Street, our wasteful government and the economists that invented the plan.

It has sucked our resources out of Main Street and our productive manufacturing sector to be used in the biggest casino the world has ever known.

We can clearly see now what we should have already known. That we can’t borrow our way to prosperity and that it is impossible to grow ones standard of living without producing or saving.

We shake our heads as we wonder how on earth we were so gullible.

So the jig is up. It is time to unmask these charlatans and clean up this system of waste and market corruption.

This will be a great lesson for all of us. We need to make a promise, a blood oath that this will never ever happen again! When our children become old enough we will put them on our knee and warn them about how our country was almost destroyed by a group of …..


Wait, hold that thought.


The economists have something they want to say before we stop listening to them.

Now they are saying that we need to give their “borrow and spend” economic theory more time. They say that our money is not gone. It is just invisible. They say that we need the Magic Inflation that will make our invisible money appear again.

Our economists say that they promise that their Magic Inflation won’t be used to reward government favorites at the expense of everyone else like their old economic theory did.

They are emphatic that we won’t have unintended consequences like spiking interest rates that collapse asset values thus pushing our nation into defaulting on its debt.

They guarantee that severe inflation is out of the question.

Economists are sure that this time is different than any other time in history.

Best of all they promise not to insult our intelligence anymore with faulty economic models that don’t make sense because Magic Inflation does not require math or logic.

We just have to believe … in magic.


Now how does that old saying go. Trick me once, shame on you. Trick me twice, shame on me.

But the saying doesn't mention being tricked multiple times after the first two times.

Maybe the economists could be right this time.

We have never tried magic as an economic policy choice before.

To tell you the truth Magic Inflation does seem a lot easier than working and saving. And isn’t it a lot more fun to borrow money than to pay it back!

This Magic Inflation makes more sense than anything else that the Wall Street economists have suggested for the last 15 years.
